Synthetic Fuels vs. Cold Fusion

There has been a lot of furor over synthetic fuels for the last few years. Synthetic fuel, according to How Stuff Works , is any kind of fuel that is made from natural gas, coal, or from chemically converted “biomass feedstocks”. Synthetic fuels, or synfuels, are also referred to as Fischer-Tropsch liquids because of the process that produces them.
