17 Jun 12:25 Forbes Covers Hydro Fusion’s Offer of Free E-Cat Plant

Mark Gibbs of Forbes.com continues to cover recent E-Cat developments in a new article titled “Psstt! Want An E-Cat LENR Generator? For Free?” The article covers the recent offer by Hydro Fusion of a free 1 MW low temperature E-Cat plant which has been discussed here, but Gibbs notes a new footnote that has been added recently to the Jun 10 press release which states: As the funding comes with particular restrictions, Hydro Fusion is unable to consider offers from outside of Sweden.

16 Jun 20:30 Rossi: Not Slowed Down Despite ‘Dirt Plays’ from ‘Army of Snakes’ [Update -- AR Explains More]

Andrea Rossi’s motto seems to be that all problems can be dealt with by continuing to work. Here’s a recent comment on the Journal of Nuclear Physics regarding the state of affairs in his work. We have not been slowed down and we reached a COP, without taxpayers’ financing, 6 times the COP reached, in 40 years and a hundred billions of the Taxpayers money, from the hot fusion guys.

15 Jun 14:45 Italian TV Programme: “Cold Fusion E-CAT is the Energy of the Future?”

I’m afraid many of us are going to need quite a bit of help from our Italian speaking friends to understand this. A TV programme, Prometeo, was aired on an Italian Class Meteo TV Channel (which seems to have some connection to the US Weather Channel) titled “Cold Fusion E-CAT is the energy of the future?” From what I can gather from viewing the video without understanding most of the commentary, it’s an introduction to the topic of cold fusion and specifically the work of Andrea Rossi. There are some clips of Rossi speaking and footage of his e-cat which I think many of us that have seen before.

ENEA, the Italian National agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development has published the proceedings of the June 3rd meeting it held at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. The title of the event was “New advancements on the Fleischmann-Pons Effect: paving the way for a potential new clean renewable energy source?” The agenda shows the contents of the meeting: five presentations from leading researchers (see below), a round table discussion with industry leaders on the implications of the FPE for industry, and a presentation about research needs. The presentations by the researchers were (slide shows at links): New Nuclear Effects in Deuterium-Palladium Electrolysis and Gas Systems Under Near Ambient Conditions by Michael C.H.

13 Jun 00:05 AGW and LENR on ECW

I am not surprised that bringing up Al Gore here yesterday stirred up some more discussion of anthropogenic (man-made) global warming — AGW. This topic is bound to come up in discussions about the benefits of LENR/Cold Fusion, since so much energy debate and policy is centered around the reduction of greenhouse gasses (LENR produces none).

12 Jun 21:20 Hydrofusion Sells eCat Juice?

On Andrea Rossi’s blog today, the inventor stated that Hydro Fusion (the Swedish licensee) has found a company to act as a showcase for the 1MW eCat and that it is one he approves of. While I struggle to understand why this is needed, I do find the development interesting.

12 Jun 02:20 E-Cat World Store Opens

I’m pleased to announce the opening of the E-Cat World Store! I am very happy to partner with artist, musician and magician Barry Simon (a regular poster here) on this project. Barry has designed the store’s first offerings — two different t-shirt designs with cold fusion/LENR themes which he and his wife Patty will be hand printing. We will be adding more products over time which we hope will complement the messages of this site.
